Founder’s Tale

The Girl Who Walked Between Worlds

Once upon a time, in a place where the streets hummed with both dreams and dangers, there was a girl named Lisa. She was born in a land kissed by the sun but raised in a city of shadows, where the echoes of stories untold lingered in the air. Lisa however, had always been a dreamer, a weaver of words, a collector of moments, a seeker of something more.

She grew up learning the unspoken rules of survival: how to move through the chaos without being swallowed by it, how to stand tall even when the weight of the world pressed down on her small shoulders. She belonged to two worlds, but fit into neither. In one, she was the eldest daughter, a bearer of burdens she never chose. The one who others learned to rely on, yet she could never depend on! In the other, she was an enigma. Sharp, curious, always watching, always learning.

But no matter how far she wandered, no matter how many different paths she walked, she carried a secret: She knew one day she’d belong.

So It Begins…

Lisa grew to work for some of the best you could find, watching, listening, and understanding how the world truly worked, from those labelled ‘prestigious’. She knew the power of stories. Stories could build empires or burn them to the ground. Stories could trap you or set you free! And so, she studied them, not just the ones told in books, but the ones hidden in the silence, in the glances between strangers, in the sighs of the weary.

Then, one day, the whispers in her heart grew too loud to ignore. She could no longer wear the coats others had draped over her. She was not just the eldest. Not just another girl from the ‘danger zone’. Not just a worker, drifting from job to job. She was more. She had always been more.

So, she did what no one expected.

She wrote her own story.

It Was Written…

She took the voices of those who had been unheard, the dreams of those who had been unseen, and she wove them into something new. A bridge between worlds. A way for businesses, for people, to tell their truths in ways that mattered. She called it BusiTales. A home for the stories that deserved to be remembered.

And as her words found their way into boardrooms and branding strategies, into the hands of those who never thought storytelling could change everything, Lisa smiled. Perhaps she finally found her home?

Because she had always known, one day, she would leave the life that was written for her and create one of her own…

Meet

Our

Founder…

In a kingdom not so far away, there lived a wildly curious girl with a suitcase full of dreams and a flair for storytelling. Her name? Lisa, a bold-hearted wanderer who journeyed through over 50 different roles, learning the ways of people, purpose, and the secret language of business.

But no matter where she roamed, one thing kept whispering to her: “These businesses have brilliant stories… why aren’t they telling them?”

So she picked up her pen (and a little magic), and created BusiTales a place where businesses become legends, values come to life, and every brand gets to tell its story, like once upon a time!

Now, she helps companies turn their mission into meaning, their journey into joy, and their brand into something unforgettable.

Because at the heart of every business… there’s a tale waiting to be told.

  • Founder, Storyteller, Creative Strategist

Lisa Galiwango

‘As a child, I often travelled to my homeland, Uganda. They call it the Pearl of Africa, a nickname bestowed by Winston Churchill in 1908 to capture its unrivalled beauty, abundance, and vibrant diversity. Though one could drink in the magic of the land with one's own eyes, lush greenery, crimson sunsets, the rhythmic pulse of the community, my favourite way to experience Uganda back then was through stories…’
